Darrick J, from Chicago, has been in comedy since 2014. His style is a personable one, making people laugh by turning real, culturally-infused anxieties into hilarious stories. He’s performed in a variety of comedy clubs in and out of Chicago. He ran an open mic called Laughs in Lakeview, for 4 years, and has produced/performed at The Laugh Factory Chicago, Riddles Comedy Club, Zanies Comedy Club and a variety of venues across Chicago and the Midwest! - Buc (Brooklyn, NY)
Born in Brooklyn, New York of afro-Guyanese descent. Currently serving in the US Navy for the past 20 years. In the beginning I moved to Chicago and got my first break at ZANIES Chicago!! While enlisted I moved my talents to Japan, China and Thailand and contributed to several Asian/English speaking comedy scenes! Stand up Tokyo, Shanghai comedy bunker, Sit down comedy club (Brisbane)! My greatest achievement is the creation of FUNNY FRIDAYS for the Military and the bad Girlz of comedy show! - Zaid Fouzi (Chicago, IL)
Zaid Fouzi is a 24 year old stand up comedian based in Chicago, IL. Coming from a mixed background, a white mom and an Arab dad, Zaid struggled to find his identity; until he found the stage. He focuses on his comedy on normalizing the Arab American experience and disproving long-held negative stereotypes. This is his first major comedy festival. - Tina Youkhana (Chicago, IL)
Born and raised in Chicago, Tina Youkhana started doing stand up comedy in 2018. During the pandemic, she started producing the “Kale Me Funny” outdoor patio show. Her humor is dark with a spunky twist. “That was the weirdest set I’ve ever seen in my life! But it was funny as hell!” -a guy in a bar after one of Tina’s shows. - Luis Arevalo (Chicago, IL)
Luis Arevalo is a Chicago comedian who started young and turned his stutter from a weakness to a strength. Luis’s material focuses on being emotionally correct rather than politically correct. At the very least, say something funny! - Tony Loud (Brooklyn, NY)
This Brooklyn native was raised by a Puerto Rican mother. As the “class mayor” as mom would put it, I have captivated an audience since grade school. It’s been 5 years of being a professional stand up and I look forward to more festivals and traveling to other areas around the country making audiences laugh. I have been lucky enough to perform at Stand Up New York, Broadway Comedy club and Caroline’s on Broadway. - Anthony Thornton (Mesa, AZ)
Anthony Thornton is an stand up comedian, turned improvisor, turned stand up comedian (who does improv). He started his comedy journey at age 18 and found some minor success on the stand up stage. Wanting to improve, he turned to The Neighborhood Comedy Theatre in Mesa, AZ and spent 8 years performing, producing, and teaching on the NCT stage. Anthony (ImprovMania 2021 Breakout winner) combines stand up and improv together to make sure no two shows are ever the same. - Sarah Garner (Brooklyn, NY)
Sarah Garner is a Brooklyn based stand up comedian. She’s a regular host and feature at comedy clubs across the country. Sarah was a finalist in the NY Queer Comedy Festival and was voted one of the top LGBTQ comics in the city. She’s been featured in the New York Times, Time Out New York and is the co-host of the podcast, Cheers for Queers. - Esteban Touma (Quito, Ecuador)
A part Palestinian, part Latino immigrant from Ecuador, Esteban Touma is a teacher, writer and comedian adjusting to life in the US. His stand up has been featured on Comedy Central, NPR, and Sirius XM. Esteban was invited to perform in Clusterfest in San Francisco, at the NBC Break Out Festival in Chicago, and at Comedy on State’s “Best of the Midwest” showcase. The U.S. Government officially declared him an “authorized legal alien with a reentry permit.”
